About

Jibhi is the one of the quiet and serene settlements situated in Banjar Valley tucked beside scenic Tirthan Valley in the heart of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. This geographical marvel in located in the most beautiful region of Kullu within the Great Himalayan National Park region. One of the interesting facts about this geographical marvel is that it has almost everything ranging from small waterfalls, national park, lake, river, tributary and high mountain pass in the vicinity.

Great Himalayan National Park, a geographical patch in which Tirthan Valley is located, is present in the western part of the Himalayan Mountains, Kullu in the northern Indian State of Himachal Pradesh at a distance of 65 km from Mandi was initially constituted in 1984 and was formally declared a National Park in 1999, covering an area of 754.4 sqkms.

The Tirthan stream, initiating from the icy cold spring of Hanskund Peak (4800mts.) flows down through a lovely and deep forested Rohla terrain rated as one of the finest forest estate in India. This terrain now forms the core zone of the Great Himalayan National Park. After covering a distance of 70 kms from the source, the Tirthan stream joins its sister tributary the Palchan at Gushaini.

Great Himalayan National Park has a many unique experiences to offer you: from a fine dine at the amazing riverside restaurants and guest houses to munch on the trout fish, walking through the dense forest and taking a dip at the Chhoi Waterfall, plucking fresh apples from the orchards, trek from the dreamland view of mountains at Jalori Pass to Sarolsar Lake and temples around which tell many mythological and historical tales, witnessing the beauty of Shringa Rishi Temple and KothiChehni to experiencing the regional culture roaming around in the villages in the area.
